Ecommerco — TypeScript Retail Store
A retail e-commerce app with product browsing, search, a persistent cart and order flow, written in TypeScript and built with Vite.
The challenge
Managing product and cart data reliably, keeping the cart after a page reload, writing a maintainable interface, and optimizing images and assets across many screen sizes.
What I built
I used TypeScript to reduce data bugs, Axios and JSON Server to separate the data layer, LocalStorage to persist the cart, and Vite with an image optimizer for fast builds and loads — with Bootstrap and CSS Grid for the responsive layout.
